Make a felt board. Nothing fancy. Simple is always better!
Paint with water on a chalkboard, on a sidewalk, on a rock, on anything! Bonus, it's FREE!
No mess finger paint! Kids like painting no matter how you do it! This way leaves no mess and is fun for the kids to squish around. You could also tape it up to a window or glass door, experiment with color mixing, add glitter, etc.
Or, just get messy with it!
Play with water. Fill a bowl, a bucket, the bathtub. Add some toys or even just a cup or two. Endless fun for kids!
Create a sensory experience with different materials. Here's how I started.
What's your favorite thing to do with your littles?

Oh my gosh what great pictures! Right now, I've been involving my 2-year-old in cooking. But I really want to start doing crafts. Not looking forward to the mess, but can't wait to see the creations!

Great ideas! I love the no-mess finger painting...the children's museum had that one time when we were there and I always meant to try it. I think I might this weekend. Thanks for the reminder :)
ReplyDeleteThere are so many ways you can change it up. Add all sorts of things to the paint :)
